We want to collect information on regulators who are charged with enforcing residential licensing laws. The Consumer Federation of America "CFA" did a study on this topic in 2006 and found some very disturbing results (See attached CFA Report). We want to expand on their work and challenge these regulators to examine how they have neglected to disclose their conflicts of interests and how those conflicts at a minimum provide the appearance of impropriety. Regulators are fiduciaries at the highest level and we believe that conflicts of interest do not belong.
